PEORIA real estate

PEORIA Website

Peoria has quietly become the Northwest Valley's second-largest city; only Glendale is bigger. Despite the size of the city Peoria maintains its charming and small-town character.

The city's growth has given it a diverse character. Its northern end wraps around Lake Pleasant, a popular reservoir built to store water first from the Agua Fria River and later from the Central Arizona Project. The lake is surrounded by largely untouched land, some of which is now a part of the city's first desert preserve.

The Peoria Sports Complex, home to baseball's San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners, draws thousands of fans to the Northwest Valley. Peoria also has close to thirty parks to spend endless hours in, everything from swimming to picknicking is available, and when you are done make sure to check out the Downtown area which was recently restored to offer beautiful buildings to an already cozy home.
