Glendale is the fourth-largest city in the state, boasting a population of nearly 220,000.Glendale is quite possibly the antique capital of the Southwest. Its cozy historic downtown is home to a plethora of antique shops and exclusive boutiques. Glendale also boasts unique museums like Max's Sports Bar Museum, the Bead Museum and the Katydid Insect Museum.

The city is also home to 50 parks, including historic Sahuaro Ranch. For the sports fan, soon Glendale will boast two major league sports facilities for the Arizona Cardinals football team and the Phoenix Coyotes hockey team. In an effort to build awareness of its downtown and to attract visitors and residents, the city produces a number of major festivals throughout the year that draw almost 400,000 people annually.

Events such as Glendale Glitters Spectacular, Glendale Chocolate Affaire, Glendale’s Glitter & Glow and the Glendale Jazz
and Blues Festival promote community pride and showcase the city’s successful downtown revitalization.
